Project 2 : Turbine

Madlad industries was employed by an EWU professor to model and design a working turbine to demonstrate how you can convert air to electrical energy. The turbine consists of 4 main parts, the housing, turbine, plate, and alternator. The housing is a dome like structure that has a hole in the top with a section to attach a pipe or hose of some sort to pump in air, and 3 small holes near the bottom to allow air to escape. The turbine has a generally simi circle profile with curved blade, and small cone on top to break up the air pumped in. The plate is a circular plate meant to hold the whole assembly together. The alternator was not modeled however is used as an example of something to convert the rotation from air being pumped into it, to electrical energy.
